Strong ruby, purple reflections, discreet ochre brightening on the rim. Prune notes, chocolate, hints of pickled cherry and some leather. Juicy and tightly meshed with dark fruit, ripe, supporting tannins, mineral with dark nougat on the finish and good length. Safe ageing potential.
