Tasting from 23.03.2022: Ulrich Sautter

Balsamic-savoury on the nose with a hint of cooked berry fruit, becoming increasingly so with air contact: undergrowth, peat and pine to the fore. The palate reveals melted tannins that still allow the remnants of the earlier power to shine through. Ripe acidity matches the fullness and brings lots of charm. Measured alcohol and fine style with (un)typical vintage charm.
