The red wine Orizzonte Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Donna Olimpia 1898 has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich shining ruby with garnet rim. Attractive nose with delicate herbal notes, rosemary and sloe, then blueberry, a touch of red pepper and varnish. Full palate with fine-meshed tannin, powerful, yet supple and showing delicate use of wood. Inviting, salty-juicy finish.
