Light colour, low sulphur (but no oxidation). Bell-clear sweet cherry fruit, almost somewhat Pinot-like. In the mouth, the wine flows delicately and juicily, fine tannins in rather carefully dosed quantities and a lively acidity lend the wine elegance and an impression of subtlety, before peppery aromas (like damp asphalt) on the finish allow the terroir to shine through.
