Juicy, brambly, dark fruit on the nose is reminiscent of crushed blackberry. Hints of cocoa and tar play about the nose and come together on the palate where tannins and freshness both vie for attention. The tannins seem to emanate a tarry darkness, the freshness, however, adds a fine, bright juicy note. A lovely and well-structured wine.
