The red wine Private Selection, vintage 2014 from the winery Esporão has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser, Benjamin Herzog, Othmar Kiem, Ulrich Sautter, Dominik Vombach with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Alicant Bouchet, Aragonez, Syrah from the region Alentejo in Portugal.
Open bouquet with notes of red berries, especially blackcurrant, pomegranate and undergrowth. Ripe acidity, pronounced tannins, powerful and mature. Currently perfectly ripe for drinking, but still has reserves.
