The red wine Cuculaia Syrah Cortona DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Fabrizio Dionisio has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, bright dark garnet in colour. On the nose it reveals beautiful fruity, ripe cherry and blackberry with cassis and a light minty edge. On the palate, it is dense and many-layered, building up to a rich, long, compact and fruity-spicy core. It still has a long life ahead of it.
