The red wine Gioia del Colle Riserva, vintage 2006 from the winery Fatalone organic wines has been rated in 2015 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gouais Blanc from the region Puglia in Italy.
Delightfully old school: malty, ripe tones (almost "marsalato") enhance the fruit (banana chips, small red berries). In the mouth, the 100 per cent Primitivo is silky and finely nerved, has a mineral flow and appears almost delicate, despite its 15 per cent alcohol by volume. Elegance and playfulness, the alcohol disappears completely behind the minerality.
