The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Fattoi has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a purple core. Gentle expression on the nose, reminiscent of plums, cinnamon, roasted almonds and some thyme. Light-footed on the palate, with a certain drive, clear, dark fruit and well-integrated use of wood, delicately bitter in the finish.
