The red wine Antica Chiusina Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Fattoria del Cerro has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear brick red with a ruby sheen. Pronounced aroma of dried fig and rum steeped fruit, also a hint of goji berry, wrapped in clove and tobacco. Luscious on the tongue, with interwoven tannins, glides through the palate with good drive and lingers on the finish, ending with a minimal finish.
