The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2007 from the winery Talosa has been rated in 2012 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Vino Nobile di Montepulciano in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with garnet rim. Initially somewhat restrained nose, but then opens up beautifully, finely drawn nose, showing notes of blackberry, cherry and cloves. Full-bodied on the palate, opens with pithy, present yet finely integrated tannins, spans a wide arc, beautifully ripe fruit on the finish.
