The red wine Rosso di Sera IGT, vintage 2009 from the winery Fattoria di Poggiopiano - Galardi has been rated in 2013 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Very precise and concentrated on the nose, opens with lots of rich fruit, elderberries and blackberries, dark pepper in the background. Full-bodied and dense on the palate, opens with firm, supple tannins at the core, velvety, builds well, lots of drive, clear and long-lasting on the finish.
