Dark purple-garnet with a black core. Open-hearted nose of black currants, cloves and sweet yellow bell peppers, with damp brick and coffee grounds in the background. Rich on the palate, with a powerful body, very straightforward in its structure, somewhat wiry, very intense, dries out a little in the tannin, lingers long on the finish.
