Tasting from 02.01.2004

Sparkling ruby; intense, slightly smoky tones, lots of elderberries and ripe wild raspberries, inviting; juicy fruit on the palate, dense, well-integrated tannins, powerful on the attack, then unfortunately breaks down as it progresses, ending with slightly bitter notes.
