The sparkling wine Franciacorta DOCG Extra Brut, vintage 2017 from the winery Ferghettina has been rated in 2025 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Nero from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Brilliant straw yellow with golden reflections. Fine, delicate and persistent mousse. Delicate notes of fresh and candied yellow fruit, followed by peeled almond and bread crust. The aromatic component returns on the palate, accompanied by a pleasant saltiness that carries through the long finish.
