The red wine Saia Sicilia DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Feudo Maccari has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero di Troia from the region Sicily in Italy.
Deep dark purple with an almost impenetrable core. Preserved dark fruit on the nose, prunes, dried figs, slightly animalistic on the second nose. Gripping on the palate, dense, interwoven tannins, pithy structure, turns out to be powerful, shows a rustic character, good length.
