The red wine Vrucara Sicilia DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Feudo Montoni has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
Gently shining ruby colour with subtle garnet-red reflections. Dense and powerful nose of plum confit, cloves, ebony and coffee. Silky at the start, then with generous fruit, tightly woven tannins and plenty of tension on the palate through to the long finish on cocoa.
