The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Figli Luigi Oddero has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant garnet red with oily stained glass windows. A hesitant, delicately fragrant nose, redcurrants, later light clove and distinct black pepper. Slightly astringent on the palate, lively acidity and a persistent finish. Retronasal eucalyptus. The wine can be expected to mellow with a little ageing.
