The red wine La Locomotora Reserva Rioja DOCa, vintage 2011 from the winery Finca Nueva has been rated in 2019 by Benjamin Herzog & Dominik Vombach with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region Rioja Alta in Spain.
Very ripe nose with pickled and dried fruit. Alcohol is also noticeable. Initially sweet on the palate, then dries out with again (over)ripe aromas in the medium-long finish.
