The red wine Crianza, vintage 2019 from the winery Finca Sobreño has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Powerful aroma with ripe dark berries, cassis, black cherry, juniper berries, pepper and pipe tobacco; also earthy, smoky notes. Powerful in structure with sun-derived alcohol, well-balanced acidity and a beautiful spiciness. Rather low density and length, however. A perfect accompaniment to meat dishes.
