The red wine Fiorano Rosso Lazio Rosso IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Fiorano has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benajmin Herzog, Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points.
Clear, rich ruby with a slight garnet shimmer on the rim. Open, delicately outlined aromas of dark currants, blackberries and cardamom, with notes of leather, liquorice and dark chocolate, very profound. Pronounced, ripe fruit on the palate, unfolds with grippy, beautifully ripe tannins, fine meshed and juicy with good fulness.
