The white wine Neuburger 1000-Eimerberg Reserve, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut FJ Gritsch has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Neuburger from the region Wachau in Austria.
Bright golden yellow, silver reflections. A very seductive bouquet with ripe yellow tropical fruit, hints of dried fruit and nougat, nuances of figs and quince. Juicy, full-bodied, fine fruit expression, again with figs and quince, concentrated minerality underneath, remains persistent, has everything a great Neuburger needs, a classic Vieilles Vignes character, silky texture and certain ageing potential.
