The red wine Gran Helen Lagrein Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Fliederhof Weinmanufaktur has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region South-Tirol in Italy.
Very dense ruby colour with a black core. Notes of violets and bay leaf on the nose, also some cardamom, followed by rich, dark berry fruit. Powerful in the attack and on the palate, but at the same time shows fine, well-integrated tannins and a robust finish.
