The red wine Sorpasso IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Fortulla has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby with a purple hue. Very concentrated and intense nose, nuances of dark currants, wild raspberries and elderberries, lightly beeswax in the background. Hearty and grippy on the palate, showing rich, tightly meshed tannins, plump, vivid fruit, rich drive, very long finish.
