Tasting from 02.12.2022: Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach

Deep dark ruby in colour with an opaque core, purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, aromas of blackberry, subtle hints of mint and fig, underpinned by a smoky-herbal spice. The complex palate is juicy with fine fruit expression, ripe taut tannins, mineral notes and hints of nougat on the long lasting, fresh finish. Has the potential for further ageing.
