The red wine Barolo DOCG Cannubi, vintage 2018 from the winery Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Dark and glittering ruby red in colour. A bit closed on the nose at first, then opens up with pronounced notes of fruits of the forest, plus a touch of sealing wax. On the palate, there is a nice juiciness and fruitiness, and also a slightly saltiness. The wine shows good ageing potential, but needs to be laid down for a bit.
