A nose of heart cherry and blackberry with delicate woody spice as an accompaniment. On the palate, the warmth of the site trumps the coolness of the vintage. Fine tannins match the ripe acidity, and the extract is well concentrated on a supple base with medium-high density and a clear mineral background. Has very good further ageing potential.
