The red wine Gaia Estate Agiorgitiko Nemea PDO, vintage 2020 from the winery Gaia Wines Nemea has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. On the nose, subtle oak savouriness, delicate hints of bourbon vanilla and nougat, underlaid with ripe sweet cherries and blackberries. Despite its power, it is somewhat light-footed with nuances of red berries, integrated tannins and a subtle salty note. A full-bodied food wine, already approachable.
