The red wine Piancarda DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Garofoli has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Montepulciano from the region Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby in colour with purple highlights. A very intense, fragrant nose of ripe cherries and plums. The palate brings fine tannins and sweet texture that builds well - seems both elegant and full at the same time. A salty, very long finish with lots of depth.
