The red wine Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Gemma has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby. Delicately savoury nose of black pepper, Amarena cherries and ripe plums, reverberating with blackberries. A well balanced palate with fine texture, juicy and with clear fruit, good length.
