The red wine Rolando Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Giacomo Grassi has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino, Pugnitello from the region Chianti in Italy.
Brilliant dark ruby red. Very ripe nose, somewhat oxidized, plum, walnut, dried violets. Lots of tannins on the palate, with a green-spicy undertone in places, unfortunately a little torn apart overall.
