Tasting Notes
Light yellow-green. Delicate lanolin, fine oak notes, spices, aniseed, hazelnut, smoky minerality, a hint of sea buckthorn berries. Powerful on the palate, almost a touch alcoholic and fiery, the fruit is reminiscent of baby banana and honeydew melon, creamy and mineral at the same time. Balanced acidity structure. Individual style, shows good length, a small oxidative-nutty touch on the finish. Rick Kinzbrunner's wine is an example of the masterful use of wood.
