The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Le Coste, vintage 2016 from the winery Grimaldi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, clear ruby garnet with light rim. Opens with notes of tar and liquorice, plus lots of ripe plum. Distinctive, grippy tannin on the palate, but spreads well, dark fruit, then some drying wood tannin on the finish.
