The sweet and dessert wine Muskat Ottonel Schilfwein, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Tschida – Angerhof has been rated in 2015 with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Muskat-Ottonel from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Medium golden yellow with silver reflections. Almost traminer-like floral nuances on the nose, alongside hints of marshmallow and lily of the valley - a very intense bouquet. The palate is juicy and very sweet, with exotic fruit hints. Very good length and intensity, and a twist of fresh nutmeg and white pepper on the finish which shows great length. Quite simply a flavour explosion.
