The white wine Forst Kirchenstück Riesling GG, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Heinrich Spindler has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Lemon peel, candied lemon, some yeast notes on the nose. After contact with the air the nose reveals a more and more "stony" expression , crushed stones and flinty notes. However, it is still a little closed. In the mouth, it starts smoothly, almost creamily, then it is quickly refreshed by acidity, carried by texture, quite linear and still compact, the finish almost invites you to chew. There is unbelievable finesse throughout.
