Reddish purple with narrow light rim. On the nose: elderberry, blackberry and sloe. The palate starts oily, fills the wide but not exuberant body with mellow, impeccably ripe tannins; the tannin does not become astringent, instead it is integrated and creamy on the one hand, but also has nothing austere on its own. The ripe acidity is seamlessly integrated. Complex, chiseled wine with power. Very long, berry and tobacco finish. Excellent ageing potential.
