The red wine Alessandro del Borro Toscana IGT (Magnum), vintage 2015 from the winery Il Borro has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep, dark ruby purple in colour. Opens on the nose with aromas of walnut compote and allspice, followed by rich blueberry notes. Powerful and dense on the palate, initially round and creamy, with lots of fruit, then opens up with plenty of fine, dense tannins, long and juicy.
