The red wine Il Margone Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Il Molino di Grace has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with a slight garnet edge. Very intense and inviting nose, rich pickled cherries, slightly resinous cedar, balsamic notes. Substantial and very dense on the palate, showing lots of ripe fruit, lots of plum, warm, then opens up with dense, well-integrated tannin, firm drive on the finish.
