The red wine Levigne Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Istine has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Chianti classico in Italy.
There is a rich, bright ruby red colour with a shimmering core. It is compact and freshly fruity on the nose, with lush cherry and ripe raspberry, and light amarena on the finish. Initially it opens nicely on the palate, it is juicy and fruit-driven, unfolding wide with crisp cherry flavours and a slight saltiness, and it has good length.
