A slightly funky nose at first presents hints of lees and reduction. More air then reveals creamy hints of lime and boxwood with an overtone of tar. The palate is supple and wonderfully bright, this is luminous lemon bedded in nutty, gently oaky smoothness. This strikes a lovely balance and shines with a streak of brilliant freshness. The finish even holds a hint of tropical fruit.
