Smoke and vanilla inform the rich lemon notes on the nose of this late-disgorged vintage wine. Hints of oatmeal add another dimension. The palate brims with lemony freshness and fizzes with understated excitement. All the apparent richness here is in flavour depth since the palate is svelte, creamy and suffused with fine, gentle mousse. A most elegant wine with a very long finish.
