The white wine Ilbesheim Kalmit Grauer Burgunder Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Kaiserberghof has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grauburgunder, Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The nose is still slightly reductive and somewhat smoky. The palate is reminiscent of PINOT Gris, but also has a fine, mealy phenolics quality and the grip of Chardonnay. The ripe acidity provides sufficient support, mineral components enrich the clean, juicy finish.
