The red wine Südtirol Lagrein Riserva Tor di Lupo DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Cantina Andriano has been rated in 2015 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling, rich ruby violet. Opens on the nose with rich spicy notes, then fine blackberry, some goji and blueberries. Very powerful on the palate, opens with lots of ripe berry fruit, then opens with plenty of rich, yet supple tannins, coated with fine enamel, subtle earthy notes on the finish.
