Bright, rich dark ruby. Barrel wood savouriness on the nose, a slight hint of rum pot, slightly bacony aftertaste, then very rich cherries, a decidedly ripe nose overall. Delicate spiciness on the palate, full-bodied, ripe fruit with a rich playfulness, appears somewhat tired on the finish.
