The red wine Rossgraben, vintage 2015 from the winery Köllerhaus – Weinbau Köller has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Syrah from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are aromas of fresh black cherry, a touch of ripe plum, fine tobacco nuances, and a subtle herbal savouriness. On the palate it is complex, and appears very powerful, with a pronounced fruit texture, vivid tannins, some minerality, and persistence. It is a full-bodied food wine.
