The red wine 2019 Kir-Yianni Ramnista Single Vineyard Xinomavro Naoussa PDO, vintage 2018 from the winery Ktima Kir-Yianni has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points.
Intense carmine, purple reflections, subtle ochre brightening on the rim. On the nose, red berry confit, hints of black olives and candied orange zest with a subtle savoury touch. Juicy, sweet cherry confit, subtle acidic structure, savoury tannins and a salty finish. Already approachable, a charming food wine. Like a farmer with solid leather shoes!
