The red wine Arrayán Premium Méntrida DO, vintage 2003 from the winery Bodegas Arrayan, SL has been rated in 2006 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region La Mancha in Spain.
Deep dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate watery rim. Delicate velour notes on the nose, heart cherries, but also delicately overripe. Full-bodied on the palate, sweet berry fruit, overlaid with demanding tannins, making it somewhat astringent, the petit-verde component makes it even more bitter. Now completely unapproachable, but has very good potential.
