The red wine Elisa Colli Tortonesi Barbera DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery La Colombera has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich, dense ruby with a slight garnet tinge. Slightly restrained on the nose, with subtle notes of fresh cherry, fine cloves. Blooms beautifully on the palate, lots of drive, pithy tannins, multilayered, accentuated by mild earthy notes. Unfortunately, a bit drying on the finish.
