Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections and a broad and bright ochre rim. On the nose, an attractive bouquet of subtle caramel, vanilla, red forest berry confit and cherry compote underpinned by tobacco. The palate is juicy with a subtle sweetness, freshly structured and elegant with silky tannins, Burgundian in style, with red wild berry and cherry fruit. Balanced and well developed with some nougat on the finish, this wine has a very easy-drinking style and the potential for further ageing.
