The prosecco Millesimato Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery La Gioiosa has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
This has a brilliant pale yellow colour. There is an intense aroma of freshly cut apple and ripe pear, with a delicate floral aftertaste, and also some minty notes. It is juicy and vivid on the palate, with a well-integrated mousse, and it is harmonious, unfolds nicely, and is drinking beautifully.
